Eidgah Imam Maulana Khalid Rashid Farangi Mahali in Lucknow has expressed displeasure over the statement of Yeti Narasimhanand. Maulana has described the statement as shameful and condemnable. During a program in Ghaziabad, Mahant Yeti Narasimhanand made objectionable remarks about Prophet Mohammad Saheb and Quran.

Islamic Center of India President Maulana Khalid Rashid has called the statement intolerable. Maulana said that no Muslim in the world can tolerate objectionable remarks in the honor of the Prophet. My demand from the government is that strict action should be taken against them. It is forbidden in our religion to make comments towards any religious person. We do not make any comment towards any religious person. We just hope that no one uses objectionable words against us. All religions have always been respected in our country. Mahatma Gandhi had said that we should move forward by making the Prophet of Islam an ideal in our lives. I demand from the government that strict action should be taken against those who make indecent comments.

K Yeti Narasimhanand had said objectionable things in a program organized at Hindi Bhawan in Ghaziabad on 29 September. Narasimhanand termed Ravana’s mistake as minor and appealed not to burn his effigy. Along with this, very objectionable things were said about Prophet Mohammad Sahib and Quran. After the video of the statement went viral on social media, it is now being opposed from all sides.
