The deceased was identified as Sudhakar Yadav (22), resident of Variyarpur Tola, Deoria. Sudhakar was a first year student of Polytechnic Electrical branch in the university. There was chaos in the hostel after this incident which happened on Monday night. When the students saw Sudhakar hanging in the room, they immediately informed the administration.
Mobile is being investigated
On receiving the information, SP Rural Akhilesh Bhadauria and CO Praveen Kumar Tiwari reached the spot and took information about the incident. Police say that the matter is being investigated thoroughly. Inspector in-charge Pradeep Kumar said that the reasons for Sudhakar’s death are not yet known. The mobile phone found with the student is being investigated. The relatives of the deceased have been informed about the incident.
